šÆļø Yes, I Still Celebrate ā Just Not Like Before
A Message from My Heart to Yours This Season
To a dear, sweet Soul Sister who recently sent me a beautiful Christmas card āI SEE YOU.I HONOR YOU.I ADORE YOU. And your card was received with deep love. š
You wrote with such tenderness, and I could feel the quiet wonder in your words:
āI wasnāt sure if you were celebrating this year⦠after reading your blog āLetās Not Deck the Halls.āā
So, allow me to share my heart with you ā and with all those who may be wondering the same.
⨠Yes, Beloved, I Celebrate
But not with tinsel, noise, pressure, or endless planning.
I do not ādeck the hallsā in the ways I once did. Instead, I clear the spaceĀ ā for stillness, for truth, for Light.
I celebrate not the hustle of the holiday, but the quiet birth of the Holy within me, within us all. Not just on December 25th⦠but every single day.
š The Christed Awareness Is Alive in Me
I honor the Birth of the Light within ānot in glitter and garland, but in consciousness, breath, and sacred pause.
š I celebrate when I choose peace over noise.
š I celebrate when I bless the food, no matter how simple.
šļø I celebrate when I forgive quickly, and love slowly.š±
I celebrate in the Now ā not just the calendar.
The old traditions still have beauty ā and I bless them in others ābut I have been called to something deeper⦠something daily.
š Wise Men and Women Still Seek Him
This phrase echoes in me this season:
āWise men and women still seek the Christ.ā
Not in the tinsel or the tree. Not in the carols or the chaos.
But in presence, humility, quiet devotion, and love.
So yes, I celebrate. But I do so in silence, in breath, in awareness.
This celebration doesnāt end the day after Christmas.
It lives onĀ ā because the ChrisTed Light never goes out.
š From My Heart to Yours
If you are celebrating with candles, cookies, music, and joy ā I bless you.
If you are celebrating with stillness, quiet mornings, and a single whispered prayer ā I stand with you. We are allĀ welcome at the Table in the Garden.
To the one who wondered if I was celebrating ā
Beloved, I never stopped. I only softened. I let the noise fall away, and I found the Light was already here.
šÆļø We are still celebrating āin our own way, in our own rhythm, in our Now.
With love and breath, always,
