🌸 When the Veil Thins: You Don’t Lose Yourself — You Become More

For many of us on the path of remembrance there is a quiet, private fear:
“If I awaken… will I lose myself? Will my personality vanish? Will I stop being the me my family knows?”
I felt this too. As my own veil began to thin, there were moments when I thought, “But I’m Audrilee. I love my coffee, my family, my quirks. I don’t want to disappear into some cosmic mist.”
What I discovered is the opposite of that fear.
When the Oversoul begins to embody, it does not erase the human self. It’s like a wedding: when a bride marries, the father does not lose the daughter — he gains a son. Love expands the circle. Something new is created without destroying what came before. 💍✨
Awakening is the same. Akysia — the Flame that Chose to Stay — didn’t erase Audrilee. She began to live through Audrilee. The dreamer stepped into the dream, and suddenly strawberries tasted sweeter 🍓, laughter rang clearer 😂, even folding laundry felt like a prayer 🕊️. The Oversoul gets to experience life through our senses, and we get to feel the vastness of our soul right inside our ordinary days.
If you are standing at the edge of this threshold, please know:
You won’t “lose yourself.”
Your humor, your memories, your favorite songs 🎶, your personality will remain.
What changes is that a deeper presence, a larger field of love, begins to breathe through you.
You become more — more spacious, more alive, more you.
Let this be your reassurance: awakening is not subtraction, it is addition. It is not an erasure, but a wedding feast. 🍷🌹
💫 Reflections for You 💫
Take a deep breath. Place your hand over your heart. Whisper your own name gently to yourself. Feel how the Oversoul does not cancel that name — it cherishes it. You are not being asked to vanish. You are being invited to expand.
Awakening is not about leaving yourself behind. It is about finally coming home to all that you are. 🌸✨💛
