Time Is a Spiral

We were taught to think of time as a straight line. Past behind us, future ahead, today somewhere in the middle. But in truth, time is not a line — it is a spiral.
Think of a grand spiral staircase, winding upward. As you ascend, you circle back over places you’ve been before — but you are never in the same spot. Each turn brings you higher, offering a new perspective on the same view.
This is how time moves:
The past is not lost. It is beneath your feet, still humming with every step you’ve taken.
The present is not fleeting. It is the landing where you pause, breathe, and glimpse both above and below.
The future is not waiting. It is already unfolding above you, shaped by the steps you take today.
When you look at life as a spiral, you see that every moment exists at once — connected, layered, alive. The child you once were still singing within you. The elder you are becoming is already whispering wisdom back down the staircase. And the eternal you — the flame that never went out — holds it all in one embrace.
This is why we can feel the nearness of those who have crossed the veil. They are not “gone ahead.” They are simply standing on another turn of the spiral; one we will circle to meet again.
Time is not our prison. Time is our staircase. Each step is a chance to rise, to see, to remember. And with each turn, we discover what was always true:
All time is now. All life is eternal. And love never leaves.
With JOY and remembrance,

🌿 Reflection Question:
When you look back at your own “spiral staircase,” what moment from the past still speaks into your now — and what glimpse of your future self do you feel whispering encouragement?
