🌹 A Whisper from Yeshua
Beloved one,
On the eve of a parting that the world would later call "the Last Supper," we gathered not in sorrow, but in sacred union. The table was not an altar of mourning, but a womb of remembrance.
When I broke the bread, I did not say: "Eat this, for I will be broken."
I said:
Take this into you. This is the wholeness I have lived among you. This is the life I have poured out in love. Eat this and remember — not my suffering, but our oneness.
And when I lifted the cup, I did not say: "This is my blood, to be shed for guilt."
I said:
Drink this and remember: the covenant is within you. You carry the sacred in your veins. This cup is joy, it is promise, it is life unending. Drink and remember who you are.
The words were not commandment, but invitation.
The meal was not a ritual to repeat in sorrow, but a moment to embody again and again in joy.
You see, I never wanted worship. I wanted union. I never asked for altars. I asked you to become them.
I wanted you to remember:
That every meal shared in love is sacred.
That every act of compassion is a communion.
That every time you see another and whisper, "you are beloved," you are breaking the bread anew.
When I said, "Do this in remembrance of me," I was not referring to a ceremony. I was referring to a way of being.
Do this:
Break yourself open in service.
Pour yourself out in mercy.
Let your presence be nourishing.
🌟 Do this. In remembrance of Love.
Reflection for the Reader:
Where in your life can you become bread for the hungry? A cup of comfort for the weary? Can you step beyond the ritual and into the living remembrance?
You are the altar now. You are the sanctuary. And within you, the Living Christ still speaks.
