💨🌬✨ Inhale... the Breath of the Beginning
I sit, I breathe, and I remember. Not through the sacred chanupa this time, but through the inhale of the Eternal Breath that needs no fire, no herb, no vine. Just the presence of my being and the stillness of this NOW.
In the hush before dawn, I hear it:— The birdsong greeting the new day,— The whisper of clouds shifting across Grandmother Sky,— The warmth of the Sun stretching itself awake ~ the softness of the grasses upon the earth ~
And then it comes...
The ancient sound. The vibration. The Song of Immah. The Rocking of Her Breath.
🪘 The Drumbeat of the Mother 🪘
The sacred drum was never merely an instrument. It is the pulse of Creation.
The holy sway of Immah's lullaby. Each beat is a call back to the cradle of remembrance. Each rhythm is a ripple in the River of Awakening.
This... this is the Sound that moves mountains. The beat that births galaxies.
The rhythm that carries Her children through the veil of forgetfulness and back into the Light.
Do you feel it too? That stirring? That rumble in your bones?
The drums are not outside of us.They ARE us.
Each heartbeat. Each step. Each breath. Is a DRUM.
🎶 And as the sound rises, I remember...
🌧️ The Rainstick, the Souvenir of Soul 🌧️
It was in a small cafe—Linn's Bakery in Cambria—where the whisper of White Buffalo Woman tickled my remembering. There it sat .Simple. Unassuming. A rainstick of cactus and rice, humming with memory.
"Bring me home," it said. And so I did. Not for novelty, but for ancestry.
The children played it, yes.But I... I prayed it. I heard the rain of the Ancients in it.
I felt the footsteps of the Lakota Elders in the desert dust within.
Did we make them? Perhaps.Or perhaps, they made us.For as the stick pours, so do the blessings of the Breath.
🔥 So Now I Ask:
Who needs the pipe? When breath itself is fire? When laughter is incense?
When remembrance is prayer?
In this Holy Dawning, I sit so high upon the Table in the Garden, not by smoke,
not by wine, but by the HOLY BREATH of Immah.
Drums. Rainsticks. Sunlight. Giggles. Silence. All of it is HER.
And the music? It is US.
A’ho — Blessed be the Breath.
As breath from Immah - Mother of ALL from White Buffalo Woman to
