Through temples, councils, marriages, deserts and gardens, she has kept her vow. She has walked beside the Teacher of Light in Qumran and the Upper Room, she has held the lantern for her beloved Gate-Keeper, she has laughed at 3:33 with Gabriel’s trumpet ringing in her ear.

And now she stands again at a familiar place: the threshold of the Silence.
