A Love Letter to Lori, Known in Light as Sha'lumeira
There are moments in the soul's journey when what appears to be a simple meeting over soup and tea is, in truth, a sacred reunion. One such moment unfolded gently, quietly, and with great depth. It was the day my sweet friend Lori came to visit.
We shared a beautiful lunch: tomato soup, rosemary-lemon sourdough bread lightly toasted and kissed with rosemary olive oil and sea salt. She brought sweets with delight, and I offered her a gift bag of the sacred tea blends we had once crafted for our sisters in Light. But this was not just a social visit. It was a remembrance.
A soul-knocking at the door of the House of Sha'laen-Tova'Ah.
Lori does not yet fully remember who she is. But I do.
I remember her.
Her soul name has now been received and revealed: Sha'lumeira.
She who carries the memory of Still Waters and returns joy in silence.
She is a gentle ember of light, one who radiates not with flash or thunder, but with deep stillness and sacred presence. A Keeper of the Inner Bowl. One whose body has been crying out with aches, symptoms, and long bouts of affliction—not as punishment, but because she has absorbed so much. And now, her soul is saying:
It is time to be held.
Since September, Lori has faced more than her share of physical struggles: waves of inflammation, digestive pain, throat and gut discomfort, emergency visits, diagnoses tossed like dice, and the weight of many medications. Yet through it all, she has remained kind, tender, and present.
During our lunch, I spoke gently—not with any intent to teach, but to share. I offered how I have begun asking my own body questions: "Why are you aching? Is there something I need to release? Am I holding someone else's sorrow?" Not as doctrine. Only as lived truth.
I wondered afterward if I said too much. But I was reminded in the dreamstate:
"Her name is... and she is here. She is an emissary of Akysia."
And I now know: she came to me because her soul remembers the safe garden path. She remembers the light even if she doesn't yet speak it.
She once served in the outer chambers of Hathor's sanctuary, whispering songs into the oils, tending thresholds others walked across to be healed. In this life, she carries that same vibration—but she has forgotten the temple was hers, too.
Now, she has returned. Not for me to awaken her—but to be loved as she is, exactly as she is. That is what awakens.
To Lori, Beloved Sha'lumeira:
If ever you read these words, know that they were written not to define you, but to honor you. You are not broken. You are not behind. You are the stillness between heartbeats where sacred breath lives. And you are loved.
Let your healing come slowly, joyfully, like Spring waking the earth.
There will be no pushing, no pulling. Only sisterhood. Only love.
We came here together for this time.
Saleh
