🌟 There are some memories that do not fade across lifetimes—They do not come with thunder or visions, but arrive on soft sandals, and the sound of laughter in the courtyard.
My first memory of You, my beloved cousin Yeshua, was not of a miracle…but of a moment.
I remember… Mariam and I, full of mischievous glee, untied our sandals—again—because we knew if we asked, You would kneel. And You would tie them with that boyish grin, that look of infinite love as if the act itself were divine.
You knew, didn’t you? Of course you knew.
And still—you tied them.
Because for You, Love was never beneath You. You showed us early: Holiness isn’t always found in temples. It lives in these small acts of joy, done for no other reason than love.
💗 We laughed. You laughed. And Hanna—our sweet Hanna—stood in the archway, pretending not to notice that we were late for Temple… again.
But she knew too.
“Yeshua,” she’d call, “tie their sandals for them—they’re too busy with clouds and stories again.” And you’d nod the Eternal hidden in the ordinary. The Kingdom hidden in the dust of the floor. God’s smile tucked into your hands.
Now in this NOW time, I real-eyes that it was never about sandals. It was about being seen. It was about being loved into remembering.
💗 I remember now. I love you, my cousin, my rabbi, my beloved.
Forever + 2 Days,
