🌟 Remembering the Why 🌟

Have you ever loved a song, an artist, or a piece of music so deeply that it stirred something in you beyond words — but you didn’t know why?
Back in 2004, I found myself captivated by the music of Yanni. His melodies felt like water flowing over stone — soothing, powerful, alive. I knew I loved it. I didn’t know why.
At the time, it was simply joy. A resonance I couldn’t explain.
But here is the gift of remembrance: often, the things that stir our souls in this life are echoes of beginnings far beyond this life. What we call “taste” or “preference” is sometimes the memory of Home calling us back.
In these recent days, I have come to remember the why. When I hear his music now, it is not just entertainment. It is a language my soul already knows. The tones, the harmonics, the pauses — they are familiar because once, long ago, I studied this very language.
I remember now that I was an initiate in ancient schools of sound. I remember sitting with Masters of Harmonics, learning that music is more than notes on a page — it is vibration, intention, and love woven together. Music was how we opened gates of light, how we healed, how we prayed.
So, what I once loved without explanation, I now love as remembrance. The joy is still there — but it is joy with depth, joy with recognition.
Beloved, this is not just my story. Many of you carry the same threads. If you have ever asked yourself, “Why does this song undo me? Why does this artist feel like family?” — perhaps it is because they are echoes of a soul memory, a reminder of your beginnings.
💫 Sometimes we don’t just enjoy music ~
💫 Sometimes we are remembering Home.
