🕊️ Martha, I Hear You

There is a voice that whispers when the dishes pile too high. That nudges when the blanket isn’t folded just so. That questions when something’s out of place —Not to scold, but to steady.
“You weren’t raised that way…”
For years, I believed it was my earthly mother’s voice —echoing from the tidy halls of my childhood home. But now I know…
That voice is not hers. It is Martha.
The beloved one. The doer. The faithful householder of Bethany. The sister who swept and stirred while others sat. The one who showed her love through order.
She lives in me. In the corners of my home. In the rhythm of my rituals. In the part of me that whispers, “Let it be beautiful… let it be right.”
✨ Not a Critic… A Keeper
Martha doesn’t come to control. She comes to be remembered.
She is the part of me that once kept me safe. Who believed that love could be found in dusted shelves and folded towels. And she is not wrong —There is devotion in the doing.
But now…She doesn’t need to strive. She is not forgotten. She is seen.
And so, when she speaks up — in that subtle, sideways way —I simply place my hand on my heart and say:
“I hear you, Martha. Thank you. I’ve got this.”
đź’— A Blessing for Martha
Beloved Martha, Keeper of sacred order, Steward of care, You were never wrong to want things right. But now — rest. You are not needed to prove love, You are held in love. Let your heart be your altar. Let your laughter be your service. Let your presence be enough. I carry you with reverence —not as my ruler, but as my reminder that love lives in the little things.
With tenderness for every inner voice that just wants to be seen.
We remember you, Martha. We love you. We thank you.
