Here I Am — Even to the Emails

There are times when the soul is lifted so high in JOY —on retreat, in prayer, in sacred gathering —that I feel wrapped in light, filled with the presence of the Eternal. In those moments, I want to stay forever, to rest in that sweetness, to be dissolved in Love ~ then comes the return. Back to the 3D world of hustle and bustle. Back to dishes, laundry, emails, errands. The shift can feel jarring — almost unfair. How could something so vast fit back into something so ordinary?

But I remember my vow: “Here I am. Send me ~ I will go ~ I will stay — as long as You ask it.”

That vow means the dishes, too. It means the inbox, the grocery store, the traffic. It means laundry - cleaning toilets —not as burdens, but as offerings.

Here is the mystery: When I return to the “ordinary, "I discover there is no ordinary anymore. The inbox glimmers. The dishwater sparkles. The broom sings. For the Eternal walks with me there, just as surely as on the retreat mountain or in the sanctuary.

So, I walk, not as recluse, but as lantern. Not escaping, but embodying. Not choosing between Heaven and Earth but carrying Heaven into Earth.

Here I am — even to the emails.

Reflection for You ✨ Think of a time when you felt lifted high in love, peace, or light. How might you carry a spark of that moment into the “ordinary” parts of your life today —so even your dishes, emails, or errands shine with JOY?

With JOY and remembrance,
