✨ A Little Less Speaking, A Little Moe Listening

Opening Thought: Since childhood, I have heard it said: “Audrilee would do better if she would just listen more and talk less.” Perhaps you’ve heard something similar. Many of us grow up learning to speak, to perform, to give, to explain — but the art of listening feels harder to master.
Yet in truth, listening is not silence as absence. It is silence as Presence. It is the doorway where the Eternal whispers in ways we might miss if we are always filling the air.
The Bride’s Dance of Listening: I am learning that the sacred waltz is not only about moving my feet, but about opening my heart. The step is simple, but not easy:
Pause.
Listen.
Then speak.
This rhythm — pause, listen, speak — turns ordinary moments into holy ones.
Why It Matters:
When I listen, I hear more than words — I hear hearts.
When I pause, I make room for Presence to fill the gap.
When I speak after listening, my words are fewer, lighter, but truer.
The Humor of It All: I smile even as I write this, because I know myself: I love words, writing, scribing, sharing. And I hear Heaven chuckle back: “A little less speaking, a little MOE listening.”
It is not about silencing my voice — it is about tuning my ears. The more I listen, the more I innerstand. And that makes even my speaking sweeter.
Closing Invitation: What if today, you tried the 1-2-3 waltz of listening?
Pause once before responding.
Listen twice as much as you speak.
Then speak once, from the heart.
You might find that the conversation becomes lighter, truer, and even JOYous.
✨ Reflections for You
Have you ever felt “miffed” with Heaven — frustrated at silence, confused by lessons, weary of the 3D game?
What if your honesty in those moments was not rebellion, but relationship?
Can you trust that Love makes room even for your complaints, and transforms them into communion?
Practice This:Next time you feel yourself bristling, say aloud:“I am safe to be honest. Love will not thump me down, only hold me steady.”
Then pause … breathe … and listen. You may find that the miff softens into laughter, and the laughter into peace.
With JOY and remembrance,
